Tenant Services Authority

The government set up the TSA to promote and regulate housing associations in England. It is responsible for investing public money in housing associations. It has a monitoring and supervisory role and has to make sure that housing associations provide housing that meets local needs and that government money invested in them is protected. A housing association must be registered with the TSA in order to receive government funding.
